All Years, Annual Parent Survey - Deadline, 26 May
We are constantly trying to improve the education that we offer students at Victoria College and are now at the stage in the school year where we need you to tell us how well you think we are doing and how we can improve the things that are important to you. Please spare 10 minutes to complete a questionnaire by using this link and logging on using the password provided below.
The case-sensitive password is: VCJ99802Pa
By completing the questionnaire, you will be telling us how you think we should be spending our time and resources, to make our College the best that it can be for your son. Each completed questionnaire is vital in finding out what parents think. Your answers will be treated in the strictest confidence and will make a difference to how we run the school and plan for the future.
Your son has also been invited to complete a survey which is available via the daily briefing. We would be grateful if you could encourage him to complete it. It is anonymous and will only take 10 minutes.
Thank you in advance for your help.

All Years, Dress Down Day and Cake Sale - Thursday 18 May
Next week is Mental Health Awareness Week and the theme is 'anxiety'. Students and staff have been working hard to prepare a range of resources for assemblies, tutor time and PSHE lessons across all Year groups to raise awareness of anxiety as a common emotion and provide information, suggestions and tips on how to prevent it from becoming a more serious mental health problem.
On Thursday 18 May your son is invited to take part in a 'Wear it Green' dress down day (£2 each) to raise money for the Mental Health Foundation and MIND Jersey. There will also be a cake sale at morning break and lunchtime. If you would like to donate cakes, please ensure that they are shop bought cakes in their original packaging.

All Years, Grace Crocker Family Support Foundation Fun Run
Following Mr Falle’s efforts in running 2022km in 2022, we have continued our support of the Grace Crocker Family Support Foundation by engaging in their February challenge of walking, jogging or running the distance from Jersey to Southampton, with each of our Year groups taking this on either as a cohort or within smaller teams. The Foundation provides financial and emotional support to families of children receiving medical care, and more information can be found here.
To further support the Foundation in raising funds and increasing awareness of the support that they provide, we are once again organising a 'Fun Run' on Sunday 2 July at 10:00 on the cycle track at Les Quennevais. To find out more and register, please click on the link below:

GoJ, Jersey’s Big Health and Wellbeing Conversation
A message to all parents and carers from the Government of Jersey:
You're invited to take part in a research project that will explore your health and wellbeing priorities.
The project will involve small focus groups based on themes spoken about during Jersey’s Big Health and Wellbeing Conversation and will look at what the Government can do more of to help.
We know that although everyone has been impacted by events over the past three years, not everyone has had the same experiences and resulting health and wellbeing outcomes. Come and tell us your stories about how your health and wellbeing was impacted, whether positive or negative. We would really like to hear your ideas about how we can start to fix some of the issues you raise as well. What do you need to help improve your health and wellbeing?
If you would like to take part, please complete the recruitment questionnaire which will gather some background information on you to help us group those who have similar health and wellbeing priorities together.
The focus groups will take place between now and October and will be held in different locations across the Island.
