Year 12 & Y13, History and Politics Visit to London
The History and Politics department are planning a trip for Year 12 and 13 History and Politics students to London from Monday 4 - Tuesday 5 December 2023.
Politics students will attend a conference, featuring some big political names such as Sajid Javid, West Streeting and Ed Davey. History students will visit the National Army Museum in line with their studies on the British experience of warfare.
We will stay overnight in central London and spend day 2 visiting Westminster, Whitehall and Parliament, as well as the Cabinet War Rooms. We anticipate the cost will be in the region of £400 including flights and accommodation. If your son is interested in taking part in this trip (which we would strongly advise, particularly politics students), then please attend a short meeting on Monday lunchtime in Henderson at 1.05pm.
