All Years, Five-Year Strategic Plan - Focus Groups
A key priority for us this year is to develop a five-year strategy for Victoria College and Victoria College Prep. This will run from 2023-2028 and provide both schools and their communities with clarity of direction for the five years to come as we aspire to be world-class organisations.
Thank you to all parents who have completed the survey. Should you wish to take part in a focus group to give more detailed input, we still have availability from 18:00-19:00 on Monday 27 March and from 17:00-18:00 on Tuesday 28 March.
If you would like to attend, please email clare.smith@vcj.sch.je to confirm your place.

All Years, Parental Guidance - Online Safety
Parents should be aware of how their children are using phones and regularly checking them, ideally with your child as part of the conversation. An app to be aware of is called SendIt, which links to Snapchat and allows anonymous comments and feedback to be sent to users. This has the potential to be a serious risk for bullying and could lead to mental health issues. Remember, if you ever want to see what other parents have experienced with apps and devices, https://www.commonsensemedia.org/ is a really useful resource. You aren't alone if you feel you can't keep up with what apps your child is using!
If you have any questions regarding managing online safety, or would like to discuss a particular issue, please don't hesitate to get in touch with Mr Griffin or Mr Crossley.
